"Thank God that Trump lost in 2020"

I am one of those who believe that the 2020 election was riddled with fraud. This is true whether it was garden-variety, old-fashioned cheating, with the dead rising from their graves to vote; state-sanctioned cheating in the form of ballot harvesting, drop boxes, or Democrat secretaries of state using COVID as an excuse to violate their own laws to mandate mail-in ballots, which are particularly vulnerable to fraud; or higher-tech approaches to ballot manipulation.
I don’t believe Trump would have lost had not been for that fraud. However, looking forward, I now believe that this loss was the best thing that could have happened to America. Some of you already know where I’m going with this, but I’ll spell it out anyway.
A second Trump term would have been a repeat of the first Trump term: More Deep State opposition, more disloyal "insiders,” more media lies, and more congressional sabotage, not from the Democrats (we expect that) but from the RINOs. There is no more deadly enemy than an ostensible friend.
Trump also would have been a true lame duck because everyone and his uncle could see that there was no way Mike Pence could win in 2024. The greatest likelihood was that the White House, damaged by Trump’s limping second term, would swing to the Democrats. Trump’s second term would have been an abysmal failure.
But that’s not what happened. Instead, the Democrats mistook their dishonest victory for a mandate and thought they had the wind at their backs. Alternatively, Barack Obama understood that this was his last chance to have that third term he dreamed of, one unencumbered by his actually having to be president. Whatever the thinking behind the Biden puppetry…er, presidency, the Democrats had big plans, which they implemented immediately.
These big plans included the “one world” statism of opening the border, dramatically expanding the state to encompass every aspect of American life (the classic definition of fascism), and exploding the cost of the federal government (i.e., the Cloward-Piven strategy). All of these initiatives, which the Biden administration went a long way to achieving, represent classic Marxism.
In addition, the Democrats made great strides in introducing cultural Marxism. This meant attacking the Bill of Rights and the Bible.
Democrats broke the rule of law by refusing to apply the law to Democrats while, in true Lavrentiy Beria fashion, using the judicial system to destroy their political opponents. Most Americans were horrified to see an American president, even one they disliked, manifestly persecuted and prosecuted for purely partisan reasons. This was frightening stuff.
The Democrats also abolished the American tradition of equality, which states that all Americans enjoy the full range of civil rights. Instead, they gave us DEI, which means “All animals are equal, but some animals are more equal than others.”
Racism became the name of the game in the government, the military, and our schools (via the Department of Education). This was the mirror image of Jim Crow policies, a post-Reconstruction Democrat strategy, except that this time around, whites, not blacks, were the victims. It was wrong during Jim Crow, and it was wrong now, but that didn’t stop the Democrats.
Most significantly, Democrats launched an all-out attack on both the Bible and reality by insisting that so-called “transgenderism” is real — that is, that males and females can magically switch sexes, sometimes hourly, drift in a sexual no-man’s land of “non-binaryism”; or even switch species altogether. Americans stopped being entertained by RuPaul’s drag queens and started seeing their children being turned into mutants, with the federal and (Democrat) state governments blocking any parental efforts to save their children from this madness.
As if all this weren’t bad enough, the entire world went to Hell in a handbasket. Under Biden’s weak leadership, the world developed two hot spots that both promised the possibility of WWIII, complete with nuclear weapons in the hands of rogue nations.
The utter awfulness of unfettered Democrat rule is why Trump really and truly won. He won in the Electoral College and in the popular vote and gained votes across America, even in those regions where he didn’t win.
Indeed, I’m convinced that Trump and the Republicans did even better than we know because there was still cheating. You’ll never convince me that the long counts (some lasting almost a month) that almost invariably end in Democrats’ favor aren’t the result of cheating. I suspect that several California House seats that finally went to Democrats got help from the graveyards.
The thing is, though, that Trump would never have won so spectacularly had we not had to suffer through four years of Biden’s ineptitude, corruption, and hardcore leftism. Americans had to see behind the smiling face of Democrat fascism into the dark heart of its hatred for America, anti-Christianity, racism, sexism, antisemitism, and sheer incompetence. Democrats needed the arrogance of that 2020 victory, no matter how false it was, to expose themselves.
Moving forward, it’s Trump who has the tailwinds. I do believe that Congress will fall in line and confirm Trump’s appointees; DOGE will make some giant steps toward ending government waste; the border will be closed, and illegal aliens will be shipped back home, with many leaving voluntarily; the military will become a lethal, efficient fighting machine; race relations will return to normal; and the madness of so-called “transgenderism” will end.
Overseas, Russia and Ukraine will end their pointless war, one that cost hundreds of thousands of lives and countless dollars, and they’ll probably end it where they would have all along had Trump been in charge: With Russia buying territory in Eastern Ukraine and Ukraine staying out of NATO.
If Iran doesn’t unleash a nuclear weapon (I believe Israel will act very quickly to make that impossible), Trump’s Abraham Accords will be the new normal in the Middle East, and Iran will be broken. With luck, Trump will also break Turkey’s Erdogan and return that country to the lovely place it was before this mad, wanna-be sultan took over.
Yes, I’m optimistic, but I have reason to be. History shows that fallen nations can recover. Just look at Great Britain, where the successful Victorian era followed the utterly corrupt (morally and politically) Georgian era. (Now, of course, the UK is actively committing suicide, which is another story.) We Americans can claw our way back.
BUT…
We can’t claw it back if we think the battle has already been won with Trump back in office. As Churchill said, “Now, this is not the end. It is not even the beginning of the end. But it is, perhaps, the end of the beginning.”
In many ways, the real fight begins now. Trump’s appointees, many of whom have been victims of the agencies they’re set to lead, are a good start, but we must keep the pressure going relentlessly. To quote another great British politician, remember Maggie Thatcher’s words of wisdom to Ronald Reagan: “This is no time to go wobbly.”
We will win if we stay the course. So, I’ll close with a quote from a great American:
“Fight, fight, fight!!”
